Bobby Lynn Heavener, 77, passed March 14, 2026. He was the husband of Martha Kay Kirk for 53 years.
Born in Brinkley, he was the son of William and Addie Smith Heavener. He attended Brinkley High School, later joining the Army and serving 3 years in Germany.
He was employed by the Post Office, a delivery driver for Western Auto, and Central Companies, where he later retired. He was a member of Ironton Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, camping and riding 4 wheelers with his grandchildren, playing Bingo, and going to the casino.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jessie, Hershel, Ralph, William “Dub”, Brence and Ed Heavener; and sisters, Gladys Fowler, Ilene Tolar, Barbara Bryant and Mary Sprinkles.
Bobby was survived by his wife, Martha Kay; son, Brian (Kayla) Heavener; grandchildren, Tabitha and Tanner Heavener, Shuler (Ariel) Smith, Andrew (Mikka) Smith, and Abby (Bryce) Hall; great-grandson, Jaxon Hall; sister, Joyce (Phil) Sprinkles; brother, Larry Heavener; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Saturday, March 28 at the home of Bobby and Kay.
