Clarie Sue Quinn

Clarie Sue Quinn, 89, of Brinkley passed away at her home September 14, 2024. She was born in DeValls Bluff on January 23, 1935. She was the fifth child born to William and Bertie Dobbs.
On May 27, 1972, she married Travis Avain Quinn. They made their home in Brinkley and she was a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking for her family, working outdoors and times spent hunting, fishing, and camping.
As a lady of faith, she enjoyed fellowship with her church family and times of worship at the Full Gospel Church of God in Brinkley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee and Bertie Lee Tremmy Dobbs; her son, Tony Mashburn; and siblings, Junior Dobbs, Charlie Dobbs, Ethel Powell, Alma Leggett and Pauline Brown. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Travis Avain Quinn of Brinkley; stepson, Travis Quinn (Laura) of Milton, Florida; daughters, Anna Mae (Glynn) Parchman of Brinkley, Felicia (Lloyd) Lewis of Palestine, and Phyllis (Don) Holloway of Searcy; eight grandchildren, Amanda Bennett, Tammy Quinn, Anthony Mashburn, Deborah Evans, Stevean Mashburn, Sam Quinn, J.R. Lewis, and Asalee Lewis; 25 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were September 18 at the Brinkley First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Eric Harrell officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements were by Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home of Brinkley.
