Sandra “Sandy” Norma Henley

Sandra “Sandy” Norma Henley, 71, of Brinkley, passed away while at the Woodruff County Nursing Home in McCrory, Arkansas on September 1st, 2024. She was born on October 10th, 1952, in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Jerry Ferguson and Sarah Ferguson. Sandy was an extremely hard worker who took pride in providing for her family and friends. For years, she was simultaneously employed at multiple places. She rotated from her factory job at Van Heusen to waitressing at the Cotton Club, Sweet Peas, and the Four Seasons. Sandy enjoyed spending her free time growing gardens with Buddy and going with him to fish for anything that would take the bait. She loved attending family cookouts where she served the best homemade fried chicken and hushpuppies. Later in life she would happily retire into “grandbabying”.  Sandy leaves behind her spouse of 50 years, Graylon “Buddy” Henley; one son, BJ Henley; one brother, Jeff Ferguson; two sisters, Barbara Nail, and Kim Stowe; five grandchildren, Madison Henley, Haiden Henley, Jaxson Henley, Bayleigh Henley, and Will Henley. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Sarah Ferguson; son, Gearld Henley; and brother, James “Tiny” Ferguson.  A memorial service will be held at Fowler Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7th at 10:00 am.  Tribute video at www.fowlerfh.com
