Robin Keith Schlesier
It is with deep sorrow and affection that we share the passing of Robin Keith Schlesier, known to many as "Slick," on July 16, 2024. Born on June 7, 1955, in Brinkley, Arkansas, Robin's life was a testament to the power of charisma, generosity, talent, and wit. His captivating personality brought joy to countless hearts, and his talent as a mechanic was unrivaled in his hometown of Brinkley, Arkansas, where he happily resided after retirement.
Robin was a man of many passions. He found great satisfaction in the intricate art of automotive repair and took pride in his role as a mechanic. However, his interests did not end at the garage. A witty conversationalist, Robin delighted in his coin collection, relished his travels, and cherished the company of his friends. But what mattered most to him was his beloved family. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "The purpose of life...is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well." Robin embodied this philosophy, living a life filled with purpose, honor, and compassion.
Robin is survived by his daughter, Cindy Huff, his sister Sarah (Nick) Paslidis, his nieces Alexandra and Abigail Paslidis, his nephew Yianni Pasledis, and his grandchildren Ivy, Violet, Denton, and Rowan Huff. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buena and Robert Schlesier.
