Sarah Lee Colvin-Wilhite

Sarah Lee Colvin-Wilhite was born in England, Arkansas on October 26, 1929 to Cain Albert Colvin and Georgia Walker-Colvin.

Sarah was reared in a Christian home and at an early age, she proclaimed Christ as her personal Savior. Sarah was a member of Trice Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Cotton Plant, Arkansas. She was a dedicated member and she served on the usher board, and she served willingly in any other capacity necessary at her church home.

Sarah received her formal education in the Little Rock School District, where she attended Horace Mann School.

Sarah was a very Strong woman who strived to accomplish her Ambitious dream. She Respected others, and she was well respected. She motivated others by Assuring them that things are much better than they sometimes appear. She was Honest, and warmed the hearts of all souls she met along her journey.

Sarah was dedicated to her most prized possession, her beautiful family. She devoted her life to raising and caring for her children and grandchildren. Sarah's motherhood was not just limited to her biological children, as she served as the "community mother" for countless people throughout her community. She fed and clothed anyone in need, earning herself dozens of bonus children and grandchildren. Other hobbies she partook in inlcuded gardening, fishing, sewing, watching some of her favorite Westerns on TV, cooking shows, and home decor shows.

On February 28, 2023 at 7:13 pm, God whispered into the ear of his beloved child Sarah Lee Colvin-Wilhite "Peace Be Thine..." and He pardoned her sweet soul to everlasting life. He sent His Angels to Huntsville, Alabama to welcome her home. Awaiting her arrival to Glory were her parents, Cain and Georgia Walker-Colvin, her brothers Bert Colvin and Robert Colvin, and her precious granddaughters Chasity Hudson and Heather Westbrook.

Sarah's memories will remain in the hearts of those who will continue to love her, her children Harvey (Vicki) Westbrook of Atlanta, GA, Cain Westbrook of Cotton Plant, AR, Robert Wells Jr. of Cotton Plant, AR, George Wells of St. Louis, MO, Vallow Crawford of Cotton Plant, AR, Lawrence (Vicki) Wells of Atlanta, GA, Larry Wells of Cotton Plant, AR, Vernon (Evett) Wells of Somerville, AL, Normia (Joseph) Jones of Temecula, CA, Gail (Rocky) Reynolds of Brandon, FL, Kenneth (Rose) Wilhite of Atlanta, GA,

Coryor (LaTonya) Wilhite of Cotton Plant, AR, Gary Wilhite of Cotton Plant, AR, Tarsha Wilhite of Atlanta, GA, and Kametria Wells of Forrest City, AR, 38 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday March 11, 2023 at Trice Chapel M.B. Church in Cotton Plant, Arkansas from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral will take place at the Brinkley Convention Center (1500 Weatherby Drive, Brinkley, AR) on Sunday March 12, 2023 at 2 pm. Burial will take place at Ebenezer Cemetery in Cotton Plant, Arkansas by Branscumb Funeral Home
